I've been so inactive on dA these past few months. My boyfriend has moved in and I've just been completely preoccupied with life. My camera has hardly been used at all these past 10 months, and I've also barely picked up a pencil or a pen. Nothing has been done. But, I'm thinking a lot about opening commissions for Synesthetic-related paintings (see blacklavaPRINTS (https://www.deviantart.com/blacklavaprints)' Journal for more info), and I'll need to post some samples on here, at least. Hopefully that'll get me doing more things. Sorry to anyone who has requested anything of me, and thank you everyone for all of the favourites. Sorry, once again. :heart:

You've not seen much of me. In all truth I've hardly had my pencils out at all. However, yesterday, I plucked up the courage to draw the main character of my book! As you can see from my gallery, I find drawing males very difficult. That's why I don't do it. So, after an hour or so of drawing and deciding it was finished, I made the awful mistake of colouring it in. Why oh why did I think that it would be a good idea? I ruined it because I have no idea how to use coloured pencils. But, today, I was brave and redrew it. Or, rather, I traced his face then redrew the rest. I'll tell you if I can't get the eyes right the entire picture is ruined.
